| - Never Say Never - - - I GOT A CAR!!! :D It's a silver '96 Nissan Sentra with 90 thousand miles on it, gray interior, great AC, CD player with detachable face, power steering, GREAT breaks (this thing can stop on a dime), fairly roomy, 4 cylinder engine, all kinds of great stuff. Not to mention it's in really good condition. And all for $4 grand! ^_^ I'm so happy, cause now I won't be afraid to date!
I went on a retreat with my church over the weekend and met this AAAAAWWWWWESOME girl named Marissa. I like her, she likes me, it's all well and good. ^^ She's got the most beautiful olive green eyes and an extremely pretty face, and she's probably the nicest girl I've ever met. We started talking and we were pretty much inseperable all weekend. ^^; We just clicked. The retreats are from Friday through Sunday, and Saturday nights they have a dance. They played about 4 slow songs during the dance, and I asked her to dance on each one...she accepted! ^^ So we were dancing and we made eyes contact and kept looking away and blushing and smiling and stuff, then we'd look at eachother again and do the same thing...over and over, and it was great. ^^ We talked a little bit as we danced, so it wasn't all awkward and stuff. But people kept running into us while we were dancing! >_< We'd be all dancing and stuff, and some random person would just come up and bump into us on "accident". *rolls eyes* Sure...anyway, we kept making eye contact and looking away and stuff, but at one point on one of the songs, we made eye contact and just stared...it was so beautiful. After the dance was over we all went back to our cabins for the night.
Well, the next morning, one of the first things anyone said to me was a leader guy named Tony saying, "Who was that girl you were dancing with?" And I told him, and he said, "Yeah, everyone was watching you guys." And I was all embarassed and stuff, but it was a good kind of embarassed, not a bad one. When I saw Marissa again later, she said that one of her friends had taken pictures of us dancing. So, everyone was watching us and pictures were taken and everything, but neither of us noticed any of it because we were busy paying attention to eachother. ^^; One girl said it was like something out of a movie. So awesome...but anyway, that girl is going to get copies of the pictures for both of us. ^^ I can't wait.
After retreat I got her number and called her up later that night telling her that my parents had gotten my car while I was on retreat. We talked for a long time, then she had to go, but it was still awesome. ^^ She's 15 and is turning 16 in June. She's not allowed to date with just her and a guy til she's 16, but she can still group date and hang out at eachother's houses and stuff which is good. I'm planning on hanging out at her house this Saturday, which I can't wait for. I'm gonna get to know her family better and stuff, and I'll meet her best friend Emily which is also awesome. Both Marissa and I have a lot in common, it's unbelievable. Same colored eyes (except mine have a yellow circle around the pupil), both of us have a dalmation (come on, how often do you find someone who actually owns a dalmation? Not often, I'll tell you that), we're both really into church and stuff, she's never had a boyfriend and I've never had a girlfriend (Kara and Bonny don't count because we never went out), we like mostly the same things and dislike mostly the same things...she's just so awesome. ^^
Aaaaand...that's the end of my rant. |
